Floating Chunky Oak Shelves Handmade in Leicestershire. Our 45mm x 200mm deep floating oak shelves are made to order using the finest quality solid oak and hand finished to a beautifully smooth finish.
Our unique wall fixing allows for a much greater load capacity up to 30 kilo’s or more on solid brick or block walls. Having a wood battern more screws could be added if nessesary.
Plasterboard walls need more care, however having a battern new holes can be placed to line up with the studwork inside.
Available sizes for Chunky Floating Oak Shelves are as follows:-
Two thickesses – Slim 32mm or Chunky 45mm.
Depths can be 100mm, 150mm or 200mm deep. We can if required make deeper but would require a surcharge.
Length’s from 300mm to 2000mm.
When you select a colour and place the order we will post to you a sample of that colour for your approval. Once approved production can start.
The Oak is applied with 2 coats of tinted wax. Available in beautiful Limed Oak, Forest Oak, Rugger Oak and Jacobean Oak. The wax is to both protect the wood and highlight its natural beauty.
