Chunky White Down Bracket Shelving. Handmade in Leicestershire. Our 45mm x 200mm deep have Down brackets in Gloss White to match the shelf. Supplied with white matching screws. Made to order using the finest quality solid wood. Hand sanded then painted using 2 coats of solid white both top and bottom to a beautifully smooth finish. Shelves over 1200mm have 3 brackets.
The wood is applied with 2 coats of solid white water based paint, a truly great paint that has a beautiful smooth finish. Being a natural timber product there might be some small cracks or dents in the surface. Being paint it is possible to change your colour scheme in 2 or 3 years time.
Our Gloss White brackets allow for a greater load capacity of 30 kilo’s or more on solid brick or block walls.
Plasterboard walls need more care when positioning the brackets. It is important to line the brackets up with the studwork inside the wall. Studwork is usually set at 400mm centres. Find the first stud (timber in wall) in the corner.
Available sizes for White Painted Bracket Shelves are as follows:-
Two thickesses – Slim 32mm or Chunky 45mm.
Depths can be 100mm, 150mm or 200mm deep. We can if required make deeper but would require a surcharge.
Length’s from 300mm to 2000mm.
